USAA adding 200 jobs

The hiring process will continue throughout the year

Armed forces insurance provider USAA said today it will bring 200 jobs to Colorado Springs when it opens a financial services division in April.

“Our mission is to facilitate the financial security of our members, the men and women of the U.S. armed forces and their families,” said Jim Salek, vice president and general manager of USAA’s Colorado Springs office.

Salek said the hiring process will continue throughout the year. The first available positions are posted on USAA’s Web site at www.usaa.com/careers.

USAA insurance division in Colorado Springs employs more than 1,000 people.

Last year, USAA began offering members face-to-face financial advice sessions from its offices in the Briargate Business Park.
